I was able to serve costumers while maintaining other duties; such as running the drive-thru while fulfilling other orders, decorating cakes or cleaning while maintaining the orders in my head so they would be completed properly. I was able to learn team building skills and learned a strong sense of multitasking especially working with people who were more experienced than me. By the time I was finished I felt a strong connection to my regular customers and fellow employees.

I have played for multiple teams over these past years, collaborating with many different personality types. I wanted to highlight this experience because since childhood it has taught me to be a team player and demonstrate leadership qualities; as well as teaching me the importance of trusting those around me and supporting them at the same time. Through sport I have learned that there is always room for improvement and anything can go wrong in a second. I have learned how to constantly be questioning the situation and paying extremely close attention to detail, while trusting my peers and taking action. Because of volleyball I have become more sure of myself, able to reflect on actions even when they were performed well, and make quick decisions based on cercomstance.
