- Effective and efficient management of the COVID-19 homelessness response, ensuring an appropriate level of intervention while minimizing population risk, is essential. Strategies implemented prevent or reduce the transmission of infectious diseases in London’s homeless population and lessen the burden on shelter and health care services.
- Oversee the dissemination of Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU) COVID-19 recommendations to shelters and outreach agencies, ensuring the health and safety of the population and staff, while meeting provincial guidelines.
- Develop an effective plan for the implementation and evaluation of COVID-19 response programs in conjunction with MLHU, community partners, and agencies.
