THERE WERE MANY YEARS THAT EVERYONE NEEDED TO MOVE HOME FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER.  AT THE TIME I REMEMBER NOT WANTING TO GET OFF WORK AND GO HOME.  THATS WHEN THE WORK REALLY BEGAN.  MY GRANDCCHILDREN STILL TO THIS DAY SET THE DINNER TABLE WITH DISHES AND CLOTH NAPKINS.  THERE WAS SUCH A JOY IN DOING ALL OF THE CHORES BECAUSE WE MADE IT A COMPETION. WHO CAN DO IT THE BEST  BUT THE  FASTEST TOO.  AFTER CHORES WE ALWAYS WERE OUTSIDE PRACTICING OUR TEAM ROBING OR SOMETIME EACH OTHER.  DONT BE FOOLED WE HAD SOME VERY HARD TIMES AND TIMES WHEN A NEW BABY WAS BORN AND WAS NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE.   HE IS NOW 22 YEARS OLD AND LOVES LIFE LIKE NO OTHER. A GOOD MAN HE HAS BECOME.  

MY MOTHER IS 101 YEARS OLD.  SHE STILL CHEATS AT CARDS BUT WE STIL CALL HER ON IT.  BUT WE DONT TAKE HER WIN AWAY. MY MOTHER SINGLE RAISING 5 GIRLS IN THE 1950S.  SHE TAUGHT ALL OF US THE VALUE OF WORK ETHICS AND HONESTY.  THAT HAS BECOME A LEGACY.  THERES NO FAMILY WITH SADNESS REGRETS AND SET BACKS.  BUT AFTER THOSE HAVE COME AND GONE ITS THE FAMILY LEFT THERE TOGETHER TO PICK UP THE PIECES AND MAKE MORE HAPPY TIMES AND MEMORIES FOR EVER.
