At Porto's, I am currently a server in cafe retail. I am responsible for taking guest orders, including pastries, cakes and other cold sweets, as well as savory items. I then go to the kitchen and pack all pastry/savory orders. I am responsible for taking the guest to the cashier, where their transaction is processed.
The majority of my duties culminate in serving and providing the guest with their food orders. However, I will sometimes be tasked with cleaning the glass cases and counters during opening shifts.
I do not handle drink orders, however, I have brief knowledge of various coffee drinks, hot and cold. I am familiar with the ingredients in numerous smoothies, milkshakes, as well as coffee and other cold drinks.
During my employment at Chick-fil-A, my responsibilities encompassed various areas.
I was taught to be a cashier and take orders, make beverages, handle money, serve food out to guests, and clean the dining room. Being a cashier was done at the front-counter, as well as window. Making beverages included, but was not limited to fountain drinks, milkshakes, frosted beverages, etc. Tasks on dining room included cleaning trays, tables, and chairs, while also mopping the floor.
To conclude my duties, being a server required me to take trays of food to guests at tables, while also calling out bagged orders. Overall, these descriptions tell what my job was like on a daily basis.
While being employed at Target, my job included various activities.
The majority of my work there was done while being a cashier, where I assisted guests with checking out and bagging items. Additionally, I was also responsible for monitoring self-checkout; watching out for stealing, and helping guests with discounts and questions.
Lastly, part of my responsibility was associated with drive-up orders, where I would get purchased items from the back, and bring them out to cars in the parking lot.
