  • Coordinate all aspects of fellowship recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and graduation.
  • Maintain program records, including fellow files, evaluations, and program documentation in accordance with institutional and ACGME requirements.
  • Assist the Program Director with the preparation of program reports, data submissions, ACGME surveys, milestones, and internal reviews.

  • Communicate and interact directly with other health facilities and request needed images for comparisons, answer busy phone line, and fax out multiple requests for continuation of care

  • Retrieve, upload and archive radiology images into PACS, creating accession numbers and resolving transcribed images. Scan related documents into PACS
  • Process radiology requests, download images onto discs and mail them out accordingly
  • Release of information, verify patient ID, validate release forms to make sure its completed correctly
  • BILLING- Worked specific work queues analyzing billing related errors, removed unnecessary charges from hospital accounts, provided over ride reasons to continue the process of hospital referrals, and provided missing diagnosis codes for referral processing
  • Understand different health care insurance plans, helped radiology staff by requesting prior authorizations; provided necessary documentation to help determine approval and update referrals
  • LEGAL LIBRARY- Main job functions include release of information, I work with legal and medical releases, respond to different radiology requests, and process radiology images onto discs using multiple computer applications
  • Interact directly in person and over the phone with radiologists, outside facilities and other university personnel
  • With understanding state and federal laws I validate and process internal and external authorization forms, guardian/conservatorship papers, legal, criminal and state subpoenas along with court orders and search warrants
