I expend three years working as a Quality Inspector at Craftech Corp. My role in this company was to verify and make sure that all the parts that we manufactured were on optimal conditions to be sent to all our costumers. I was responsible to inspect all the production and to measured all of them, so; we were running acceptable parts with the right dimensions. To get those dimensions I have to use calipers, OGP, CMM, height gages, feeler gage and pin gages. Also, some parts have inserts and I have to tested their resistance by performing them (a pull-out test). My job consist on collect parts twice on my shift and revised them as I previously stated. I have to revised production constantly during my shift to be sure that the production were free-defect. I also have experience with metal parts which was part of the job that I was performing at Velco. The idea and tools weren't that diverse but the way of performing the job was. There's no too much divergent between those two jobs but the components I work with.
I worked for a company that provided therapy for children with autism for about six months while I was finishing my bachelor's degree at Cal State Dominguez Hills. However, I ended up leaving it aside because the income was not enough, as all my sessions were by appointment. Therefore, I had to find a more stable full-time job to cover my educational expenses.
I am currently working at ALUZ, where I serve as quality control. I ensure that all the products we manufacture meet customer satisfaction and that all parameters are met. I also make sure that all procedures are followed so that our products are of the highest possible quality.
