Sander/Technicians Assistant

  • My responsibilities at Avenue Auto Body were prepping and sanding cars/car parts and remove any defects, communicate effectively with my team to make sure our department is running smoothly
  • I was motivated to learn more about the Automotive industry, started helping technicians remove and assemble bumpers
  • Moved myself up to repairing dents, removing damaged doors

  • My responsibilities at Interior Door are inspecting doors throughly for defects, sanding the doors with different sanding grit depending on the style of the door since everyday the style of door changes

  • Working from cars to working with doors has been a change of environment but I use the same skills, from throughly examination,communication skills, working in a fast environment , changing work projects.

  • Working in a fast paced environment to get the equipment on the airplane on time, working with other employees to make sure all equipment and essentials are on the carts before driver takes the equipment to the airplane

•Performed OJT with new blending method in bag and tag

•Training new technicians opened the door of the technician being flexible in different areas when needed
