Over the course of my career in the Fixed Income markets I have been recognized as a key contributor to many strategic initiatives and have become the Subject Matter Expert of Fixed Income products. My vast experience in the market has afforded me a stellar reputation amongst my peers and I have been fortunate enough to have maintained my extensive contacts in the marketplace over the years. I am trusted by colleagues, traders and sales people across Bay Street with a proven success in Fixed Income portfolio management and trading following all trades through to a timely and accurate settlement. I developed and implemented a cash management system for cash on hand and actively traded a dormant fund to one of the top 10 ST Bond funds by the end of my contract, As a subject matter expert in fixed income trading I traded the entire Fixed Income book for the BMO GAM Fixed Income team, I maintained and developed relationships with Sales teams across Bay Street as well as the Operations teams in the middle and back offices seeing trades from research to execution to successful settlement in a timely manner, Streamlined the above processes to ensure fewer trades failing

I am always looking ahead in research for the next big Fixed Income trade and sharing that information with my portfolio managers, I clearly understand the big picture and long term strategies for all portfolios - Fixed income, cash and treasuries.  I would meet regularly with all Fixed Income Team members to ensure the strategies in place have remained the same or offer some suggestions for change and the reasoning behind my suggestions for research and execution, I was an early adopter of new technologies and was the main contact for the Fixed Income team for implementation, As the main contact for the Fixed Income teams I worked for, I was responsible for maintaining relationships with all sales coverage and traders across Bay Street as well as maintaining a symbiotic relationship with the back and middle office staff,  I developed strong relationships with my peers - portfolio managers, fixed income sales staff and back office to ensure successful settlement of all trades big and small to keep losses at a minimum and maximize profit.  

I am a dedicated volunteer currently on three separate Boards for minor lacrosse.  I am currently Treasurer for two provincial boards overseeing Minor (OMFLL) and Girls field (OWFL) in the Province of Ontario and am also the VP of Field for the Toronto Beaches Lacrosse Club.
