- PWM Hydraulics is a global manufacturer and exporter of Hydraulics and Pneumatics. As a machinist at PWM we produce parts like gland,piston,barrel,lug,shaft etc. of hydraulics equipments for company customers and developed jigs, fixtures and tooling to meet production requirements.
- Operated manual lathes, milling machine, and grinders to produce precision components. I can also set and operate Cnc lathe machine from time to time where there isn't much work to do at manual, but I can't make a program yet but im willing to learn more to expand my knowledge.
- Interpreted engineering drawings and specifications for accurate machining processes. Checked output for consistency with specifications and discarded defective items. We conducted a quality control inspections for individual for every 10pcs of parts that we make to make sure we are doing right and collaborated with engineers and superiors to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste or reject of parts.
- Measured completed pieces to identify product irregularities and specifications non-conformance; adjusting machines to correct issues.
- Performed routine machine maintenance and repaired minor damages. and performed inspections on finished products using micrometers and calipers ensuring compliance with drawing tolerances customer specifications.

- I work as a mechanical technician if there are lack of people to send onboard and anchorage in ship, because usually they send 8 number technicians to work in day and night for 5-7days, we do overhaul of main engine every 20K thousand running hours. Dismantling 8pc cylinder head and replacing it with new overhaul spare and fuel pump as well and re-assembling, all O-ring and gasket should be replaced. Pistons should be cracked and cleaned before installed again and make sure the bolt and all fittings are fully tight before they do test of engine running with load.
- Vibration Dumper overhauling/replacement of spring.
- Also doing crosshead bearing overhauling, replacing with new bearing and take calibration of surface and re-assemble all parts and bolts.
- We do also turbocharger turbine inspection and overhaul, dismantling gas admission casing and clean all carbon with soap water and taking clearance of turbine rotor and after cleaning re-assembled all parts and cover.
- Turbocharger dismantling cleaning and replaced all new O-ring and gasket for the pipeline and installed with new recondition of turbocharger complete cartridge with new design nozzle and testing with 65% load with lube oil pressure.
- We do Piston Overhauling, remove all the connection of pipe and bolts and remove main engine, cleaning and crack test the bottom area takes calibration of liner and replaces piston and overhauling of piston also if needed. Clean all the connections with wire brass and change all gasket and O-ring and all bolts should put anti corrosion and re-assembled all parts that we remove.
- As a machinist if we don't have work onboard and anchorage, I usually machined of cylinder head pocket valve seat area with 1mm oversized or with bushing depending on the corrosion of pocket.
- We re-conditioned 2 stroke valve spindles, grinding the seat landing and cleaning of shaft with emery paper and calibration.
- We are dismantling and overhauling the Fuel Injector and Accumulator and re-install again.
- Can Operate lathe, milling machine, hand tools bandsaw machine, radial drill machine, crane and small forklift.
- Machined vessel parts like cylinder head pocket, safety valve thread, fuel valve casing and body and grinding, exhaust valve spindle machining recondition, and full repair defend on status and fabricating some tool to make the job easier and faster.
- Doing some basic Arc welding and heat treatment.
- Always followed safety standards and housekeeping policies in workplace and department.
- Modification of vibration Compensator casing, top and bottom cover by enlarging the hole for 150mm diameter of thrust bearing and modification of counterweight if needed.
- Machining face of injector valve and polishing of valve head and valve holder.
- Machining bush of connecting rod and replacing it with new bushing.
- Fabrication of some tools and jigs for the job if needed to make them easier.
