As a solar installer I was responsible for installing solar PV panels, inverters, mounting systems, and related equipment while accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. The role involves securely mounting solar panels on rooftops, carports and ground structures, connecting wiring, electrical components, and monitoring systems, and performing system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. I followed local building codes, electrical codes, and safety regulations at all times, use hand and power tools effectively and safely, and inspect installations to ensure quality and compliance. I was also responsible for maintaining tools, equipment, and job sites in a clean and safe condition, as well as assisting with system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades when required.
