Though my attention span is short, thanks to my ADHD and Asperger's, I still show focus and dedication if I've got proper motivation or a clear objective. I am also fairly calm in many situations, and try to look at the bigger picture rather than jump in without thinking. Even when I do jump in ahead of myself, I still try and get the situation under control and quickly as possible; often aggressive at first to make sure my words get across, I calm down once I know I'm being heard. If there's no reason to be aggressive, I bring attentions and any arguments or fighting to as quick of an end as possible, especially if there is no need for a hands-on approach.
She was stuck with me and our father until she could afford a house of her own. I'd clean and watch over them when she needed a break, thought her two kids wanted her more than me to do so. 3 and 2 years old respectively, my niece and nephew gave us all no end of stress, but they were more often taken care of by me until the three of them moved back out.
Mostly things to keep my attention and focus on something, or take time to myself away from these things.
