  • Control the flow of materials using such as dry crushed aggregate, recycled asphalt, asphalt cement and propane to produce hot mix asphalt according to the mix designs and state regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to all plant controls PLC’s, conveyors, bins, screens, belts, vaporizers, hot oil heater, asphalt pumps, valves, fans, etc. to ensure the longevity and reliability of the asphalt plant.
  • Coordinate with the asphalt scheduler and order the proper materials for the operation such as propane and asphalt oil. Speak with vendors and manufacturers to order new parts and also keep a proper inventory of them to ensure there is little to no down time anticipating a replacement part.
  • Operate loader to feed bins, telehandler, skip loader, excavator, skid steer, ten wheeler truck to clean up asphalt waste and also Move heavy machinery and parts.
  • Design, fabricate and weld new components to better improve the profitability of the asphalt producing plant and the rock crushing plant.
