Dylan Kirk

I am Dylan Kirk, I live in Keswick, Ontario, Canada. I currently attend school at CGMA private school in Aurora, Ontario and have attended school there my whole life. I am currently 14 years old and I am in grade 10 however I am taking a few grade 11 courses as well. I love being active and frequently go to the gym, play hockey, and go for bike rides/runs. I also love the outdoors, I frequently go camping, fishing, and hiking. I currently have many achievements both in school and in extracurricular activities, specifically hockey. I am a very hard worker and have developed very strong employability skills as well as transferrable skills. I set goals daily, simple tasks like making my bed or going for a run in the morning. These small goals help to kick start my day on the right foot. I will then go through a list of things that I want to accomplish in a day school related and also hockey related. For example, I will hit every single pass I make in a practice, or I will have at least 5 hits in this game. I think that I could be a perfect fit for this job as I am a very hard worker, am always looking to improve, and I can be used in any situation that you may need me in.

I currently have many achievements both in school and in extracurricular activities, specifically hockey. Some of these achievements include Honour roll every year since grade 3, I was awarded the certificate of distinction on the Gauss contest from waterloo, meaning I finished in the top 25th percentile of all participants. I Won the AA OMHA in 2019, OMHA single A finalist in 2018, 2019 silver stick champion AA, I was the captain of my AA hockey team in 2019, so I have great leadership experience that could be of good value in the workplace, I also made AAA in 2021, I was then the assistant captain of that AAA team in 2022, I was a AAA OMHA finalist in 2023, I Graduated from grade 8 in 2023, I was an OHL cup participant in 2024, just to name a few. That's enough about my past, let's now talk about my visions for the future. My visions for the future are very ambitious but I believe that with enough hard work and persistence anything can happen. My first goal is to be drafted first round in the OHL or to be committed to a D1 school in 2 years. Another goal that I have is to eventually get to play in the NHL

I love playing sports, hiking/backpacking, and working out. Some of the teams I have played for are the Ajax-Pickering Raiders AAA, York-Simcoe Express AAA, and Georgina Blaze AA. I also completed a 35km overnight backpacking trip known as the highland trail with my friend Leeson.
