  • Training to close arena in the evenings. This involves cleaning the ice with a Zamboni, inspecting for any daytime damage and filling in holes and reporting any new damage to the ice. The goal is to do this in the evenings by myself next year. I am currently working towards perfecting backing in the zamboni.
  • Closing the arena involves communicating with community users that the rink is closing by giving them a few minutes warning to get off the ice and clean up any personal belongings. I then ensure that this occurs and then clean up any remaing debris.
  • Lock up areana area and make sure everyting is secure for the evening.
