Estimatics Assistant Manager

Currently working as the Estimatics Assistant Manager (joined the team as an Estimator) at Birchwood Collision’s Pointe West location, overseeing Repair Planning as a whole whilst training and mentoring onboarding estimators and photo estimators on industry standards as well as MPI's estimating standards, while maintaining proficient use of Mitchell Repair Center, Mitchell Connect, MS Office, etc.

  • Ongoing improvement of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely repair estimates for collision damages.
  • Maintain good standings and shop relationship with MPI, whilst keeping our AAV and Cycle time in check, in addition to reducing our shops overall AAV score to below industry averages.

  • I purchased my own auto body shop in the fall of 2017, and began building a clientele (Steinbach Dodge included) working only part time as an afterhours service, 7 days a week while still maintaining my full time employment within the Steinbach Dodge team. During 2021, I made the decision to open my shop full time, serving as a body shop to some of the local dealerships in the Steinbach and surrounding area, as well as retail repairs, my experience during my five years within my business include cosmetic paint repairs, restoration, non-claim related cosmetic collision repairs, rust repair, custom paint, custom airbrushing, automotive detailing, paint correction, body panel replacement and repair, as well as overall customer service and pride in my work. My custom paintwork has been displayed in multiple shows, winning awards for paint in World of Wheels.

  • I also created the dealership’s social media posts weekly, as well as created all of the dealerships advertisement designs for our social media platforms and our newspaper full page ads.
  • Over the course of my first year within the Steinbach Dodge team, I achieved a 70% overall increase over the previous year in retail/phone sales within my specific role.

Volunteer Experience

09/2008 - 01/2009, Steinbach MCC Thrift Store, I volunteered for the Work Experience Program in Grade 10. I helped to repair common household appliances, and assemble furniture. I also organized shelving and items for sale, as well as polished furniture and helped customers.

Hobbies and Interests

As a huge automotive enthusiast and artist, I enjoy spending my free time building and restoring classic cars, applying one of a kind artwork on both vehicles and motorcycles, as well as checking out local car shows around the community.
