Eager to continue my apprenticeship and further develop my skills, I am committed to contributing to the success of a dynamic team while continuing to grow within the industry. HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC

  • Perform comprehensive inspections on both on-road and off-road trucks and trailers to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Accurately document mechanical concerns and fluid levels; identify components needing immediate or future attention.
  • Begin and assist with repairs including electrical diagnostics and component troubleshooting.
  • Inspect, service, and replace fuel lines and DEF hoses to maintain optimal engine performance.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance including oil changes, DEF tank and coolant reservoir replacements, and transmission fluid flushes.
  • Replace belts, fan clutches, shocks, and tie rods; support wheel alignments and front-end suspension work.
  • Install CB radios and other vehicle communication systems as required.
