I was born and raised on a cattle farm and began my working career training as a mechanic. From there I progressed to operating equipment and eventually became Forman on crew responsible for a small crew of 4-5 and a fleet of equipment and vehicles. After spending six years employed at Redhand I left for a government job as an equipment operator and am still gainfully employed with them.
This job also had many requirements outside of operating equipment including
* Operation of off road vehicles.
I am a certified off road vehicle instructor.
* Tree removal.
I have obtained a provincial level 1 chainsaw certificate.
* Welding and fabrication
I regularly used my skills as a trained welder and fabricator to repair damaged components or build new as necessary
* Through this job I have taken a number of training course including WHIMIS, off-road vehicle training, fleet vehicle operation and maintenance training as well as a number of various respectful work place training courses
+P Quarter Horses is my family run breeding program, we breed performance and barrel horses for rodeo programs in Manitoba and across Canada
• my skills include horse handling, team roping, hoof trimming, fence building and a variety of other ranch related tasks.
