Over the past 10 years I have very much enjoyed working in the High Voltage industry. I achieved my Journeyman Power System Electrician ticket in January of 2018. I have also achieved my journeyman crane and hoisting boom truck operator ticket in June of 2021. Being able to join such a diverse and strong work team would be an amazing opportunity and I believe I would be able to be a strong asset to many different areas of work. I am a Flexible hard worker ready to learn and contribute to team success.

- Started at Firefly as a foreman and was assigned the Sollair solar project
- Sollair is a 75 MW solar project just north of Airdire that ties into the Altalink system
- We successfully and incident free completed this project in a timely manner of roughly 3 months which entailed, the substation completed with one phase of the solar farm being energized and producing power back onto the grid
- Currently Beginning the construction of the Substation for the Buffaloe plains Wind Project

- Completed very similar work to that at Cana with a few added new skills such as Assisting Altalink crews Calgary and Lethbridge in many different tasks
- Have constructed 2 wind site substations from start to finish

- Testing Transformer’s as well as breakers and replacing oil gauges and gas gauges have also been among the new tasks I have completed
- Started Accepting Isolations Training as well as getting hands on experience with Switching Training
- Some switching voltages have ranged from 25KV-240KV.

- Power cables ranging in size from #1 up to 1000MCM Installing and adjusting high voltage air breaks ranging in voltage from 25kv up to and including 240kv Operation of heavy equipment such as, 25 ton Boom Truck, Mini excavator, skid-steer, Telehandler, and AWP Installation and removal of Protective Grounds All tasks involved in control building construction Worked with small teams involved in Dressing and undressing Transformers Ran Boom Truck while dressing and undressing Transformers Safe Testing of bus, and ground grid Led small crews in different construction tasks Read, interpret, and follow prints too accurately install construction items All tasks involved in Plasti-beton and duct bank installation Effectively design and built structures for on the jobs needs
