  • Designed HVAC Motor Drive to meet safety certification of UL 61800-5-1 allowing connection of an electric drive to the Canadian and US electrical grid for industrial and commercial applications.
  • Designed and tested an 800V Bus motor controller with SiC technology for high power and performance applications
  • Equipped the Waterloo lab with power and measurement equipment including: 45kW AC sources, HBM power analyzers, Siemens load dyno, Siemens SCADAS sound and vibration measurement system, Oscilloscopes and probes. Commissioned test stations which are used for system characterization of electrical, mechanical, noise and vibration performance.
  • Developed requirements, block diagram, mechanization and test procedures for a common controller to be utilized on all future BorgWarner motor controller projects.
  • Reduced customer incidents on their manufacturing line from 6000ppm to sub 300ppm.
  • Developed electrical CAD drawings for >200MW of renewable energy on the Ontario electrical grid.
