Further expanded my skillset in the trade:

• Worked solo as an apprentice mechanic, developed skills for working independently, effectively and efficiently
• Did most of the part ordering for machines that came in, built relationships with vendors
• Greatly improved on my fabrication + welding skills
• Worked hard to learn the ins and outs of new machines
• Implemented a CMMS/TPM software that includes asset tracking, part tracking, PO's, operator's daily checkup and more
• Learned more about reading schematics and blueprints

Performed many fundamental activities for an Industrial Mechanic such as:

• Safety practices like lockout tagout, pre-work inspections and more
• Preventative maintenance procedures and work tracking
• On the fly fixes for crucial machines
• Troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Disassembly and inspection of pneumatic, electrical and mechanical tools + part ordering
• Beginner fabrication + MIG welding
• Working as a team with other Millwright apprentices and Journeymen
