Competitive Swimmer

I was a provincially ranked competitive swimmer with the Manitoba Marlins until 2023. I balanced my passion and drive for swimming by training up to 20 hours a weeks while maintaining a GPA that kept me on the honour roll and earned me an entrance scholarship to the University of Winnipeg Collegiate in 2022.

Swimming taught me to be driven, disciplined, focused and to celebrate my achievements with my team mates. I learned to prioritize among tasks and measure my energy and capacity. I no longer swim competitively, but I carry these lessons into all areas of my life.
