As an EMT I provided basic medical care and monitoring of patients during transportation to and from hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, or other recognized healthcare facilities. I participated in emergent and non-emergent cases where I collaborated with healthcare professionals and provides basic medical care and monitoring of patients during transportation to and from hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, or other recognized healthcare facilities

Offered assistance throughout the Orthopedic Wing of the Santa Monica Medical Center. This role involved catering to patient requests, concerns, and needs of the staff. I was also responsible for managing basic medical supplies and consumables to prepare for incoming patients as well as attending to the front desk needs.

Led team of interns in conducting a research proposal using R-Studio and the Web of Science. Our project centered on identifying the focus of recent literature in regards to expanding telemedicine accessibility to minority and low-income communities in the United States post-pandemic. The broad tasks of the internship included writing an abstract, creating a poster to outline methodology and initial outcomes, and presenting findings to a panel. As the project lead or associate, I had to ensure my team successfully met the assignment deadlines and completed a series of training modules to effectively conduct our research. The primary tools used for the project consisted of R-Studio, The Web of Science, the Biblioshiny Library, and Excel.

Assist in the research spearheaded by Dr. Alok Dwivedi focusing on identifying a relationship between hormonal treatment and cognitive performance in older women. My role consisted of running a series of statistical tests with STATA 17 on data collected from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey to identify the performance of women ages 60 years and above on several cognitive exams. The results of these women were compiled in a draft manuscript and research presentation.
