Donnamarie Talmadge

I am currently a freshman at George Fox University and a dedicated member of the George Fox Swim Team. I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, with career aspirations of working in federal law enforcement, specifically with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Beyond academics and athletics, I am a passionate monthly volunteer at my local food bank and enjoy opportunities that strengthen teamwork, leadership, and community impact.

• Pacific Swimming Representative, 01/01/22, Present, Attend monthly meetings with 45 representatives to discuss events in the LSC and offer athlete input., Work with other athletes, officials, and coaches., Serve on the Zone 2 Committee and the Social Media Committee., Strategize ways to make the local club swim teams more inclusive and equitable., Relay information and opportunities back to my swim team., Create events to foster cross-team relationships.

• Contra Costa Food Bank Volunteer, 08/01/18, Present, Sort food at one of the organization's food pantries., Each time different tasks are assigned - from weighing food, throwing out rotten produce, packaging food, and bagging food., Work with a team of other volunteers to manage distribution of food.
