General Foreman of boiler maintenance at B.C. Hydro's Burrard Generating Station.Successfully completed many upgrades to the Power boilers and cooling water system.Major duties are to create repair procedures and work scopes, hire and train crews to safely perform the task, develop the safe work procedures for the major projects and ensure they are adhered to by personnel.
Successfully led key projects which resulted in three 150 MW power boilers being re-commissioned for power generation at B.C. Hydro's Burrard Generating Station.Also supervised the maintenance of all power units and pressure piping in the plant.
Worked at Babcock and Wilcox shop in between shut downs, repairing and certifying all the rigging used on the various jobs, checking and repairing tools.
Dispatched as an apprentice on multitudes of shut-downs throughout B.C. and Alberta.
