Primary responsibility is to provide management and technical operations counselling for the

production processing of the 700+ business applications that reside in the Stratford Computer

Centre (SCC) on a 7/24/365 basis using ZEKE, Tidal and Universal Command. These applications

can reside in any one or a multiple number of o/s390 environments (QCC, OCC, BCCC, RBC

I&TS, RBI, USWM, RBC Caribbean and RBC Capital Markets). Responsible to ensure service

level agreement commitments are achieved or exceeded on a daily basis. Ensures 28 Production

Analysts and 4 Production Team Leads are properly trained to handle their responsibilities of

providing cost effective service, on time, all of the time. There are 4 Shift Managers on this team

working rotating shifts (Days/Evening/Nights) during business days and on-call support on

weekends to provide 7/24 coverage.

• Responsible for maintaining RACF security and all Group profiles pertaining to Production

Services owned by the Director of Global Mainframe Support. Data Steward / Delegate for the

Owner/Director of Global Mainframe Support, providing approval/rejection/maintenance of

owned libraries (JCL, PROD.JCLLIB, PROD.PROCLIB, etc.), including EOSARS.

• Responsible for 9 staff. Manage one on ones, Talentlink reviews, VAM updates, and EAR reviews.

Primary responsibility is to provide the necessary support to ensure the highest level of service for all of

RBC's online systems such as IMS, CICS, DB2, MVS, JES2 and WebSphere are available to meet client

needs. Responsible for the smooth implementation of all hardware and software changes. Work with

hardware engineers to ensure prompt follow-up on problems and preventative maintenance requirements.

• Responsible for following up on all outstanding problems to reduce the possibilities of future service

outages and/or interruption or degradation of the Mainframe environment.
