I completed a short certification training course in Short Order Cooking through Sask Polytechnic after high school. I learned Food Safe and how to work in a professional kitchen. I do enjoy cooking, but as a career options are limited in Saskatchewan. My overhead crane, forklift and rigging training was provided through Brandt within my first year of Employment. It allowed me to operate propane ride on forklift as well as electrical loaders. The overhead crane and rigging taught me the basic safety requirements as well as detailed regulations and procedures for lifting small loads to critical lifts. I was accepted into Regina Trades & Skills for a short term program in which i was taught about Scaffolding. In this program we build and dissembled scaffolding and received basic construction safety training.
