Day to day unit management-bed flow, throughput, care experience service recoveries, retention and recognition with staff. Lead investigatory meetings/discipline/real time coaching. Oversaw- Hapi, Hospital acquired pneumonia, cauti, clabsi quality, quality rounds and daily rounds with Quality department for chart check room/patient validation, resource leader, Trained in A-Heart, Midas and eras. Daily audits to ensure the highest patient outcomes.

Ensures quality, care experience, and performance among Nursing Staff within delegated unit. Manages nursing staff efficiency, service, people, quality, and safety. Supervises direct reports and provides coaching and process validation. Supports Department Manager with investigatory and disciplinary meetings, consistent with the Just Culture methodology. Engages in hardwiring action plans to achieve results. Works closely with inpatient, PCS, EVS, Materials Management, Nutrition, Engineering, and HR. Supervises daily operations and oversees plan of care of patients. Assists with the design and implementation of communication/huddle boards for all staff.

Collaborated with multi-disciplinary staff to improve overall patient care and response times. Directed placement for Emergency Room, Operating Room, Clinic, and Outside services. Supported hospital policies and procedures in order to provide high quality of care. Worked directly with Staffing Department and Hospital Administration to maintain standards, policies, and problem solve then necessary. Provided support and advise to the nursing staff, and family members.

Assumed majority of supervisory duties as Assistant Nurse Manager when needed. Work with House Supervisor and Bed Control to assist with projected admissions, transfers, and oversee discharges are completed in a timely manner. Ensured and maintained unit flow, conflict resolution among staff, and oversaw unit staffing and assignment. Performed patient rounds and Service recovery. Acted as a resource/champion in Chemotherapy Administration.

Utilized the Nursing process to stabilize/transfer patients from Intensive Care Department or Emergency Room. Performed both comprehensive and focused assessments on patients primarily with Neuro, Oncology, Cardiovascular, GI and Respiratory disorders. Collaborated and communicated effectively with multidisciplinary staff with Triad Rounding. Advocated for patient safety, utilized all safety measures and tools provided with policy and procedures, such as "fall risk", "Eras", and HIPPA regulations. Appointed representative on the unit for State Surveys and other regulatory agencies.
