Motivated and detail-oriented student with experience shadowing construction projects at Al Basrah Company for General Contracting, gaining exposure to site operations and project workflow. Completed 200+ hours of volunteer service at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, developing strong communication and teamwork skills in a professional healthcare environment. Recognized as an Honor Roll student for academic achievement and served as President of two school clubs, demonstrating leadership, organization, and initiative. I am interested in becoming an engineer because I enjoy understanding how things are built and how projects come together in real-world environments. Through shadowing construction projects, I observed how planning, teamwork, and problem-solving turn ideas into structures like hospitals. My experience volunteering at Sharp Grossmont Hospital also showed me the real impact that well-designed spaces have on people’s lives. While I am especially interested in engineering, I am still exploring different fields such as architecture, civil, and structural engineering to determine which path best fits my interests. My leadership roles and academic achievements have further motivated me to continue developing my skills and pursue a future in this field.
