Ensuring both cleanliness and presentation of the business for customers and employees. From basics of sweeping, mopping, hard to remove stains, and wiping down surfaces, to sanitizing tools and washing towels.

Customer interaction and attention to detail were major parts of this job. Being trusted on expensive boats meant keeping your work area clean and tidy, while providing good service to any part of my duties.

Changing valves, propellers, removing and installing anything from a small pipes up to a 130 lb propeller shaft.

Apart from leading a team of up to 13 other security guards, I was tasked with the smooth operations and flow of customers into a venue for concerts, comedians, plays, and so on.

A big part of this job was patrolling of the entire site in a provided golf cart and on foot. Ensuring unwelcomed guests and trespassers were peacefully and directly dealt with out escalations or issues.

Credited with several licenses for de-escalation tools such as tasers, batons, tear gas/CS gas/pepper spray, private arrests, and handling of hazardous materials.
