Professional Contributions

As a proud Hearing Instrument Specialist I served on the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario (AHIP) Board of Directors from 2002-2017. During my 15 years of service, I held multiple executive positions including Vice President and Secretary. Additionally, I held numerous Director positions including Chair of Professional Practise (ethics) and Membership, as well as performing committee work including Continuing Education, Third-Party (WSIB/ADP/NIHB/VAC) and Website Development.


Over my career I have mentored dozens of students via student placement and/or student internship. I have also mentored fellow colleagues. many of whom have gone on to successful careers as clinic owners, Manufacture Representatives and high ranking members of the AHIP Board of Directors.
