- Planning for seeding/planting of different crops.
- Ensure soil fertility for readiness to seed/plant.
- Planting, cultivating, harvesting crops such as corn, wheat, rice & vegetables.
- Tilling soil with tractors & other farm machinery to prepare for planting.
- Operating irrigation systems to water crops when needed.
- Monitoring crop growth & conditions to identify signs of disease or pests.
- Applying fertilizers, herbicides & pesticides as necessary to maintain healthy crops.
- Inspecting plants/trees for signs of damage or disease and pruning them accordingly.
- Sorting harvested produce/vegetables according to size and grade before packing for shipment.
- Loading produce onto trucks/trolley for delivery to markets and stores.
- Maintained and repaired farming equipment to provide consistent usability, prime operational condition and alleviate downtime.
- Maintain health and safety practices in the fields.
- Communicate with different departments such as electricity, fertilizers and water works for smooth farm operations.
