- I volunteer to care for two autistic toddlers usually on weekends. We participate in ABA therapy which includes speech, music, occupational and physical therapy.
- I have been in their children’s lives for about three years now. I have experienced everything from unknown medical emergencies to swimming lessons and family gatherings. This has taught me to have overall patience, time management, and I’ve learned how to read body language because words aren’t available even some sign language.
