I began in the oilfield in 2007 working at an instrumentation company in Whitecourt soon after there was not enough work. Soon I found employment in Edson for himark controls i enjoyed working there for many years. I excelled at completing tasks quickly and with with a high standard for the quality of my work and I encouraged my coworkers to do the same. The instrumentation side of construction projects soon became my responsibility where i had people working under my leadership. I gained extensive knowledge of oil and gas during this time and worked extensively with sour gas and am very comfortable working with it now. In 2017 i wanted a new challenge and had worked for tourmaline in the past and enjoyed the way treated their personnel. I soon learned more about pipelines and process and was moved from oldman to medlodge where i thrived with the added workload and learned much about flow, compression, new wells, and working in a much more active area. I requested a transfer to the Wolf Lake field when I heard of the acquisition i was interested in new challenges and have enjoyed being in my position here and feel this field and plant has come a long way since. I am looking forward to continue to extent my knowledge and help to give more back to the company that has done so much for me.
