Started with Schuit plastering and stucco. Decided to go on my own after 3 years. Which gave me the set skills to:

-Lead a team of stucco installers, ensuring project completion within deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

- Communicate effectively with clients to deliver accurate project estimates and timelines.

- Implement safety procedures that reduced workplace incidents and enhanced team safety.

- Inspect projects meticulously to uphold quality assurance standards.

- Manage effective painting operations using both traditional and modern techniques to meet client specifications.

- Prepare surfaces using Styrofoam, mesh, base-coat, using various tools. As well as mixing and applying coats of stucco to surfaces by hand. Which included using rasping, troweling and floating (finishing) tools.

• Shot blasting railcars to ensure a slight textured finish so the paint would adhere.
• Using air hoses to blow off any remaining shot, for paint preparation.
• Maintained shot blasting equipment and performed minor repairs.
• Painted railcars and railcar parts using brushes, spray guns and paint rollers.
• Prepared surfaces and surrounding areas for painting railcar parts using sandpaper, tape and other materials.
• Performed duties in accordance with applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines to promote safe working environment.
• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.
