The Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases in the UNC School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Data Analyst to support a number of HIV-related projects. The Data Analyst will complete data requests and queries and maintain research related databases. S/he will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating a variety of relational databases, quality assurance and improvement systems, according to study protocols, industry standards and applicable regulations and good practice. The Data Analyst will work independently and in collaboration with a diverse research team. Experience in research data management. Training in good clinical practice and protection of human subjects. Good interpersonal communication, writing and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities appropriately and organize workload effectively.A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field required with at least 3 years of related training or experience. Related fields include (but are not limited to) Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science and Computer Science. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
