I firmly believe that the capacity to build strong bonds with students is the most crucial trait shared by all outstanding educators. Students, of all age groups, prefer those teachers who have a genuine liking for them, no one learns anything from being critiqued all the time. To be effective as a teacher we need to possess the skill of appreciating other people's kids, often known as students. Most high school grads usually respond, affirming their liking for teachers who cared, not just about academics but also about the overall well-being of their students. They were concerned about both my academic achievement and my well-being as a person.
In my teaching and classroom interactions, I ensure I approach each student intending to develop and maintain a strong student-teacher relationship.
