• Dylan's Dreams (Support for the Ottawa Humane Society), Ottawa, 2017, 2023, Every year, my family and friends help organize and run an initiative to support the Ottawa Humane Society in my brother's name. We have helped community events such as the 5km Family Fun Run and Dog Walk. To date, we have raised over $60,000 for the Humane Society. I help with a lot of the planning and running of events, particularly the 5km Family Fun Run and 2 km Dog Walk held each June (the event ran for 3 years and is returning June 2024).
• Canadian Sledge Hockey, 2016, 2018, For two winters, I helped with Sledge Hockey for kids ages 4 to 12 and loved this experience. Every Sunday, the kids would play sledge hockey and I would help them with their agility for hockey. This experience was my initial experience to give back to the community.

In high school, I organized a Grad Fundraiser having the two school hockey teams rally against each other. I raised $7000 dollars. As well, took a Recreational Leadership class, receiving top marks in the class. I lead events such as the Hoops for Hearts basketball tournament, Flag Football tournament, and floor hockey in high school I coordinated logistics, rallied participants, and managed activities and honed my organizational and leadership skills while fostering a sense of camaraderie within the school community.

The opportunity to work with the Ottawa Senators is a dream come true for any passionate hockey enthusiast. Beyond the exhilarating atmosphere of the NHL, what truly excites me about this role is the team's commitment to social agency and community engagement. Hockey has always been more than just a game; it's a platform for positive change and empowerment. I am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to furthering the Senators' initiatives in fostering inclusivity, promoting youth development, and supporting various social causes. Being part of an organization that not only values excellence on the ice but also actively seeks to make a difference off the ice aligns perfectly with my personal and professional values. I am eager to leverage my experience and enthusiasm to help the Ottawa Senators continue their legacy of excellence both on and off the rink. This summer opportunity would help with my goal to work in Sports Management.
