• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team of recreational therapists, pharmacists, volunteers, and staff to facilitate group sessions that provide education and material on how to improve mental and physical health. Monitor participants progress, implement feedback process, and create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment for open conversation. Work collaboratively to enhance program and CBT material for program development. Assist patients with material and resources that will assist with their progress. Assisting nursing in extra learning material for floor and patients.

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff in ER to provide support, assessment, and crisis intervention for Addiction and Mental Health patients. Liaison and consulting to other units within the CRH. Focus is on providing Addiction nd Mental Health expertise in the CRH and to help build capacity within the CRH to car for the Addiction and Mental Health needs of patients. Referrals to other programs that will assist patients on their journey to wellness and stabilization. Utilized critical thinking skills to prioritize nursing interventions based on patients'' acuity levels and individual needs, and provide recommodations to multi-disciplinary staff and ERP

• Assessment and report of patients in a youth mental health program for evaluation by multidisciplinary team to provide recommendations for continued care in the community. This role involved mental health assessments daily, group programming which was collaborated and delivered by team, medication administration and documentation of interventions, and intervention as needed for behaviors. Advocating for families and patients. Completing a formal assessment for team and family at the end of evaluation. Setting up community resources as needed upon discharge from program.

• Assess patient and plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Provide evidence informed, person centered, and recovery orientated nursing. Administer and assess effects of pharmacological and physical interventions. Respond to observed behavioral changes with appropriate interventions. Provided education to families and patients on a range of mental health and addiction topics. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality care and provided the resources required in community after discharge. Advocate for patient and families. De-escalation techniques as required. Experience with charge duties for all shifts, and have excellent leadership qualities. Replace AHN in past. Attended multidisciplinary rounds. Experience with review panels. Orientated new staff, and willing to take on leadership roles if required.

• Utilizing nursing process, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. Teaching, counseling, coaching on new interventions needed, and advocating on behalf of patients and their families. Provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Playing a leadership role in supporting and integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. Excellent negotiations skills and ability to think out of the box for solutions. Also, excellent organizational skills and time management skills required. Skills in RAI evaluations and implementation. Also, need to complete care plans on all clients attached to team.
