Debora Robison

I was born and raised in San Leandro, CA, where I married and raised my own kids. In 1987 my husband and I purchased and ran an Art Gallery / Picture Frame shop called Peninsula Galley. The Galley was located in San Mateo, CA. We owned and ran the Gallery for 20 years. At the gallery my jobs included payroll, accounting duties, customer service and working with the design and completion of our customers' items. In 2007 due to my husband's health problems we chose to sell our business and move to Chico CA closer to family. When I arrived to Chico I got a job at a well-established Electrical Company called Chico Electric. At Chico Electric I started out in the customer service, scheduling and billing in the residential electric service department. Shortly after that I was moved to the commercial service department. In this department my beginning tasks were assistant bookkeeping and customer service. My next several years at Chico Electric included Commercial Solar analyst, design and job completion solar monitoring for hundreds of projects. Many of these projects were multimillion dollar solar projects for local commercial, agriculture we even completed a large solar project at our local community College. In 2026 due to the political draw back for any type of solar incentives to help keep solar viable and cost effective for commercial businesses, Chico Electric's solar department had to change their mind set in moving forward with the solar department in the future. With this move Chico Electric chose to scale back its solar department and move back to focusing on their core commercial electrical work.
