  • Doing bottom-up research by digging into the following types of accounts: Dormant - those who used to buy more and have decreased their spending either in total or for specific product lines. Key Accounts - looking at large accounts that have been designated key and looking for more opportunities. Target Accounts - looking at large potential accounts both with small accounts that are underrepresented from a revenue perspective, and also looking at 'like' accounts to current large customers.
  • Setting up opportunities based on the research in Netsuite: Dormant opportunities - what to go back after very clearly outlined and provided to the sales team through the CRM system. Target opportunities - newly identified account that should be buying certain products or more. Void Matrix opportunities - what product line to sell to existing customers that they should be buying but currently are not.
  • Creating research summaries on Dormant Accounts, Key Accounts and Target accounts that summarize all the relevant data from our CRM/ERP for the sales representatives to be as effective as possible.
  • Being part of the regular meetings around Dormant Accounts, Key Accounts and Target Accounts, providing feedback and adjusting from outcome of meetings accordingly.
  • Ultimate responsibility for a clean CRM i.e. categorization of customers, reporting, contacts, cleaning out old quotes and opportunities etc.
