Reported to the executive Director, while also supported the administration and financial operations at the Uptown, Waterloo BIA and coordinated membership program and granting initiatives. As office and program coordinator I also provided support to executive Director, Board of Directors and operating committee as required.


  • Managed general reception duties; processed mail, prepared bank deposits, ordered office supplies, filing, maintained the office space, answered the phone
  • Assisted executive director with board communication
  • Coordinated calendar for board and committee meetings along with associated reminders
  • Tracked new businesses and distribute welcome packages
  • Distributed communication resources as required example; magazines, maps, newsletters, etc.
  • Managed day-to-day, financial transactions for the office, including invoices accounts, receivable and payable, petty cash, monthly reconciliation, bank deposits, coordinated with bookkeeper and auditor, etc.
  • Coordinated meeting preparation, including scheduling dates, booking rooms, sending out meeting packages, etc.
  • Took and disseminate minutes of board meetings and other committee meetings as assigned
  • Assisted in setting the executive director schedule
  • Provided social media, website, event, communication, communications, and marketing support as needed
