Lead project engineer overseeing all engineering for the $3.9 million renovation of Option 11 space, the $5 million Option 12 space, the $3.2 million renovation of the elevators Option 18, and the $1.7 million Renovation of the Option 13 space.

  • University of California, San Diego Urey Hall Barreiro Laboratory Relocation: assisted the project team as a superintendent in closing out the project which was a renovation of approximately 2,000 square feet within the basement of existing Urey Hall. The project provided research lab space using lasers and electromagnetic fields to manipulate cold atoms for use in quantum computing
    development and quantum chemistry. The renovation consisted of clean laboratories with strict environmental requirements as well as adjacent support areas.
  • San Diego County Administrative Center: Several interior tenant improvements that consisted of new interior wall
    layout, new finishes and upgraded millwork. On the exterior of the building, the project included repair and restoration of the 600 historic steel windows. The project was phased by County department, with each department relocating to an internal swing space during the construction of that particular space. All work was scheduled to be completed while the building was in operation over the course of four years.
  • Developed strong relationships with subcontractors, fostering collaboration and smooth coordination of work efforts.
  • Reviewed plans and inspected ongoing construction to keep work in line with project goals.

    a new east and south exterior wall consisting of storefront, stucco and metal panels, a new parking lot and retaining wall, and MEP upgrades.
