July 2023: Led a literacy camp at Fern Speech and Language Services for school aged children with various play-based interventions that resulted in increased phonological awareness and confidence in reading.
July 2023: Led a social communication camp at Fern Speech and Language Services using play based interventions giving the clients better skills in turn taking, various linguistic concepts and non-verbal communication.
April 2023-June 2023: Literacy Placement at HA Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic with a school age client utilizing the Wisewords program to create more morphological awareness that gave the client increased scores of reading comprehension and fluency.
January 2023-April 2023: Placement facilitating Aphasia Group at HA Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic to aid those who have aphasia with alternative communication strategies like gestures, drawings and writing which resulted in more successful conversational turns and improved communication.
