David Lee

In pursuing this role of an undergraduate Research Assistant, I hope to gain valuable experience working in a Laboratory setting, I also hope to gain knowledge in health aging that will help me in researching why certain demographics of people tend to live longer than other demographics. My grandma is the reason why I am interested in health aging, as she is 93 and still able to do most activities in her daily life; such as walk, use the restroom, hold productive conversations, and most importantly remember details most would forget at her age. I believe that in pursuing this experience it will help me achieve my goal of someday becoming a Medical Professional that can further advance research in health aging that may improve people's quality of life.
