I volunteered over 1300 hours as a LGBTQ Pride Youth Leader in the city of Red Deer where I helped organize and plan the city's youth pride events and meetings. Additionally, I helped with giving guidance and advice to LGBTQ or questioning teens who needed proper directions or assistance in meeting their personal goals/wants/needs. Another aspect was giving advice and knowledge to parents on how to come to terms with their child’s sexuality and gender identity.
