- Material Handling: Moving materials around the construction site, including loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to different areas of the site, and organizing materials for easy access by other workers.
- Site Cleanup: Keeping the construction site clean and orderly by removing debris, sweeping, and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Assisting Skilled Tradespeople: Providing support to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons by fetching tools and materials, holding materials in place, or performing other tasks as directed.
- Demolition Work: Assisting with demolition tasks, including dismantling structures, breaking down materials, and clearing the site for new construction.
- Digging and Excavation: Digging trenches, holes, and foundations using hand tools or powered equipment under the direction of supervisors.
- Site Preparation: Assisting with site preparation tasks such as grading, leveling, and compacting soil, as well as setting up temporary structures like scaffolding.
