I was born in Quebec and grew up just outside of Montreal. Started working evenings and weekends in grade 9 and haven't stopped since.
After high school I worked at Tim Hortons full time for a year and then started at a remote school and conference center an hour north of Montreal called Capernwray. I was there for 8 years and wore a variety of hats ranging from full time chef with some maintenance roles on the side. To accounting then scheduling of curriculum and lecturers, all while being the primary I.T. person on staff.
I met my wife there and eventually moved to Airdrie where she is originally from and have spent the past 11.5 years at Lexus of Calgary. In my time here I have worked as a lot attendant, then a couple years as parts driver and the past 9 as a counter person.
We have been fostering for the past 5 and a half years. It's something our family is very passionate about. It has helped keep our family grounded and given us the ability to interact with people in a variety of different ways that are coming from many different walks of life. Good reminders that there is more going on in the world than just what is directly in front of us.
