This was a work internship providing Shasta College students with on the job training in a real world setting allowing us to work on Forest Service land gaining experience in timber management practices. This was a month long program that ran through the entirety of June as a partnership program between the College and The US Forest Service. A few of the large takeaways and skills developed include communication and steep terrain experience. Gained seat time on a wide variety of equipment. Planning and teamwork were also large parts of the experience and most importantly safe operations around other operators and the public in an active camp ground.

• Trained new staff on dough preparation techniques and equipment operation.
• Assisted in developing training materials for new hires on operational standards and procedures.
• Maintained accurate inventory records, ensuring sufficient supplies were available for production needs.
• Processed customer orders and payment transactions.

• Fostered positive relationships with children, enhancing emotional and social development.
• Developed and implemented engaging educational activities, promoting cognitive growth and creativity.
• Used patience, skill and various behavior modification techniques to maintain order and safety.
