• Manage and supervise daily activities of dispatch, pickup and delivery drivers for the Montreal Area along with AM/PM dock operations team(s) at multiple locations
• Create a positive work environment while building employee loyalty and a team atmosphere
• Improve operations through: employee performance reviews, coaching, effective communication and recognition
• Investigation and implementation of disciplinary actions as required
• Daily accountability for over 13,000 pieces for pickup and delivery with an objective of zero service failures and reduce workplace accidents
• Manage a group of unionized employees (85 +) and equipment
• Achieve objectives as outlined in the operational scorecard KPIs
• Hiring, training and managing the performance of employees as per operational standards and indices
