Plant includes 50+ switches and over 4 miles of track.

Responsible for directing and managing workers to ensure safety productivity and client satisfaction

Responsible for daily job briefings and hazard assessment

Communicate with the client often concerning materials

job scopes to effectively work while other projects are being

conducted throughout plant

Responsible for a regularily updated material and tool inventory

Responsible for obtaining all required ppe including specialized ppe such as chaps for cutting rail

Experience building track including switches panels crossings

Responsible for submitting a daily force account and responsible for payroll

Responsible for mentoring and training with safety being the number one priority at all times

Conduct and record in -

depth monthly track inspections

Responsible for all log books are filled out properly for work vehicles and equipment

Operated various types of machinery including

Tripp tie inserter (10 years)

Tie crane (5 years)

Spike puller (2 years)

Spiker (1 year)

Slave tamper (1year)

Operated all common hand tools: bolters saws etc safely

Laboured on all types of projects including steel gangs

butt-welding crews, ballast dumping and destressing

construction of new track and switches including crossings

Maintenance crews

Assisted in training new operators
